Wood Lathe Turning – Pens
February 5 at 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
$139.00
In this class students will use wood shop tools and the wood lathe to make beautiful, classic wooden pens – a favorite for both gifts and personal use. Students will use the band saw to cut pen blanks to length and the drill press and a centering jig to accurately drill out the wood blank for the working parts of the pen. The wooden pen blank will then be turned on the lathe to create the pen shape.
All materials and tools included.
Ages 13+ welcome. Minors may take this class if a parent/guardian is registered and attends the class with them.
Prerequisite: Students must have taken Introduction to Wood Turning or be prequalified by the instructor to take this class.
