Some places feel nostalgic while you’re still in them—not because they’re old, but because everything slows down. ✨ Fort Rock is like that. The drive out is quiet in the best way. High desert light turns everything gold. Long stretches of road that make you stop checking the time. Views that make you pull over “real quick” (and then do it again five minutes later). And if you can, stick around through sunset—you’re not far from some of the darkest skies around. 🌌
