COCC Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month: Film Screening & Discussion

May 21 at 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Free film screening and discussion at COCC in honor of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Tuesday, May 21 at 5:30 p.m. in the Coats Campus Center.

Turning Red is Disney and Pixar film that introduces Mei Lee, a 13-year-old torn between staying her mother’s dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. Her protective, if not overbearing mother, Ming, is never far from her daughter. And as if changes to her interests, relationships, and body weren’t enough, whenever she gets too excited, she “poofs” into a giant red panda! Rated PG.
