Present In Motion
May 15 at 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
FreeThis class allows you to experience the transformative power of meditative somatic movement firsthand. Begin with gentle, slow, and meditative movement to cultivate sensory awareness with the ground, gravity, space, and effort. The invitation is to softly pay attention to sensations, and clusters of energy to connect with your moving body, learn from the experience, and use present feedback to guide your next move. As we progress, we slowly transition into a dynamic and energizing practice while remaining grounded in your deeply settled energy state that’s informing you.
During this unique session, we’ll delve into developmental movement and creative play while exploring the forces that move us, such as yield, push, pull, and tension-compression.

Last night’s sky was truly magical 🥰 👉 According to NOAA, this solar storm could produce the perfect conditions to see the aurora borealis in Bend again tonight! 📸: @whitwhitehouse
⁉️ Have you heard the news—Bend, Oregon might just be the perfect spot to catch a glimpse of the northern lights this weekend. An unusually strong solar storm is heading our way, creating a rare opportunity for us to see the aurora borealis dance across the night sky. 🌌✨ 👉 According to NOAA, this solar storm could produce an aurora borealis as far south as Northern California, meaning Bend is in prime viewing territory. So, if you want to witness this magical spectacle, grab a warm blanket, head away from any light pollution, and look towards the north in the night sky. The next couple of nights might just turn out to be an unforgettable experience under the stars.
