Wine Workshop Series: A more perfect union

For our March 15th “Wine Workshop Series” we’ll be taking a look at the history of grafting grapevines, rootstock, and the phylloxera effect. We’ll follow the path of Chris Shown as he started one of Oregon’s first certified grapevine rootstock and scion wood nurseries and established the small vineyard and winery, Brigadoon Wine Co., along the way. We’ll tackle the complexity of the grapevine nursery industry today and some of the major challenges it is facing. This will be a talk and tasting that gets a little deeper and dirtier than your typical winery discussion.

It’s RendezVan week! 🎿 The fun kicks off TOMORROW — Here’s some tips from @mtbachelor: 🚐 Getting There Catch a FREE shuttle that runs to and from the Bend Park n Ride all day until after the concerts. If you’re driving, please note that there will be very limited parking at West Village April 30-May 5. Skyliner and Sunrise lots will be open for extra parking and lift access to the mountain May 2-5. The Interlodge Shuttle will run every 15 minutes until 8:00 PM during the event, serving all parking lots. ⛷️ Skiing and Riding Pre-purchase lift tickets online with rates starting at $64/day or grab a Mt. Bachelor Spring Pass. All scheduled lifts, including Sunrise, operate from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
